January 24th was the 2nd anniversary of the installation of the Solar Array. In these 24 months the system has harvested a total of 26.16 MEGAwatt/hours which averages out at 35.83 kilowatt/hours per day. While the monetary return on the system has been severely cut by Meridian reducing what they pay us for units fed into the grid by more than 50 percent, the actual production is satisfactory and we have effectively offset the equivalent of 5 tonnes of Co2. Interest in the system continues to attract outside interest. Enquiries and visits to look at the system are welcomed.
